The summit features a prominent cairn and a stone-built trig point, perfect for the obligatory summit selfie (and a well-deserved breather!).
The mountain is primarily composed of gritty sandstone and mudstone, remnants from the geological age that contributed to the formation of the Lake District's unique landscapes.
